My Approach
I believe we are all striving towards growth and balance, so my aim is to cultivate your felt sense of harmony or wholeness. You might have a clear sense of what you want to work through in therapy, or perhaps you need some support to untangle a complex and confusing internal experience. I want to meet you exactly where you are and to provide a space for you to feel you can be honest and reflective.
I chose to practice Gestalt Psychotherapy because this approach brings together mind and body in the context of a person’s environment. I draw attention to what is happening in the here-and-now moment as a pathway in to exploring experiences of the past and ideas about the future. Whilst Gestalt can take the classic form of talking therapy, I am also open to exploring your experiences creatively – through drawing, writing or movement.
I am committed to anti-oppressive practice, and wish to honour the differences between us.
